Irma is testing the Cat Bonds market

According to a study by A.M. Best, Hurricane Irma that hit Florida on September 10, 2017 is expected to generate 12.5 billion USD in insured losses.

This amount should weigh on the results of reinsurers and holders of catastrophe bonds (Cat Bonds).
