Jacques Aigrain quits Swiss Re

Jacques Aigrain, the man behind external growth, quits the Group's management after seven years in duty. The 2008 bad results of the world's reinsurance number two are no stranger to this departure. Stephan Lippe, deputy officer to Jacques Aigrain, has taken over Swiss Re's management. Aged 53, the new General Manager is likely to proceed to a refocusing of the group's activity.
