Kenya, Jubilee Insurance posts rising before-tax profits

Jubilee Insurance, based in Nairobi, posted 4.15 billion KES (41.28 million USD) in before-tax profits in 2015, a 15% rise in comparison with the previous year. This performance is accounted for by the diversification efforts exerted in recent years.

Jubilee Insurance is intent on increasing its market share in Kenya by pursuing a new sales strategy with a view to increasing penetration rate, especially in rural areas.

The company is also betting on the expanding of its network in Africa. It is currently considering the possibility of getting established in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Ethiopia and Western Africa.
