Life Insurance Corporation of India is expanding its operations to sub-Saharan Africa

The Life Insurance Company intends to use its Mauritius office to serve the markets of the Southern African Development Community before the end of 2003. LICI will choose three countries in the sub-Saharian region to launch its operations. The company is targeting Non-Resident Indians (NRI).
