Mauritania: CDD holds 42% stake in Daman

The deposit and development fund (CDD-public) has acquired 42% stake in the largest Mauritanian insurance company Daman-Assurances.

This transaction follows the cession, occurring on October 15, 2015, of a large part of the shares held by SNIM (national industrial and mining company). However, the company has retained a 20% stake in Daman-Assurances while the Ehel Ghada still holds 30%, the Group Bouamatou 5% and other shareholders, 3%.
