Milli Re was granted a 'B' rating (Very good) with a positive outlook

The agency A.M. Best has granted the company Milli Re the rating “B+” (very good) with positive perspective.
According to A.M. Best forecasts, Milli Re is likely to consolidate its position as the leader of the Turkish reinsurance market with 35% of the shares as well as its development being concentrated in African and Asian countries.
According to the rating agency's estimates, for the year 2006 and 2007, Milli Re should be targeting a gross premium volume of 800 million TRY (527 million USD) against 724 million TRY (540 million USD) in 2005, and a before tax profit of 60 million TRY (39 million USD) for the same periods against 55 million TRY (41.1 million USD) in 2005.
