Mitsui Sumitomo has started talks with two rival companies

In view of the establishment of a new non-life insurance group, the market's number two, Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance has started talks with two rival companies, Aioi Insurance and Nissay Dowa General Insurance. This merger shall enable the new group to become the non life market leader with an annual turnover of 30 billion USD.
