More than 20 000 accidents recorded between 2012 and 2013

According to the latest figures published by the national association of injured persons living with disability (Anpavh) between 2012 and 2013, the number of road accidents amounted to 20 226 (15 350 for the single 2013) and resulted in 2 400 deaths.

Remarkable figure, Senegal has recorded between 2012-2013 almost as many accidents than during the decade 2002 - 2011 (22 000 reported cases).
