Most Burundians have no fire insurance policy

fire insuranceA significant number of Burundians show reluctance in subscribing to a fire insurance policy, despite the country's vulnerability to this type of risk.

This is due to the lack of insurance culture, low purchasing power, lack of awareness among insurers and the delays in settling claims.
