Most insurers are concerned about the digitization of the industry

According to a survey conducted by Munich Re, three quarters of the insurers consider that technological breakthroughs are going to modify the insurance business in depth.

One of the most expressive examples is about the emergence of driverless vehicles. A wholly automated vehicle is likely to expand manufacturers’ liability in a considerable fashion.

Insurance of cyber risks is also required to change the nature of its relationship with policyholders, insurers and reinsurers.

The appearance of new technologies entails closer ties between the different stakeholders. The ultimate goal is to understand at best the insured material, the liabilities associated with it, and to provide the appropriate insurance solutions.
