Natural catastrophes cause significant losses in USA

According to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), natural catastrophes caused economic damage of nearly 306 billion USD in 2017 in the United States.

The majority of this amount could be attributed to large-scale hurricanes Harvey, Irma and Maria, as well as the California wildfires.

2017 would be the most affected year since 2005, the year of Hurricane Katrina.
