Nearly 9 million of vehicles are uninsured

According to a survey carried out from the figures of the Nigerian insurance industry database (NIID), in 2013, 2.7 million vehicleswere insured in Nigeria, more than a million better than in 2012.
Despite this progress, 8.7 million vehicles still run on without insurance according to overlaps based on the Federal Road Safety Corps registrations.
