New responsibility for the Insurance Association of China

The Insurance Association of China (IAC) will now be responsible for the certification of loss adjusters, a task so far entrusted to the Chinese Insurance Regulatory Commission (CIRC).

The validation of diplomas obtained by insurance experts has also been removed, which paves the way for the entry into the labor market of candidates who have passed examinations. Successful candidates do not need to have their diplomas approved by the authorities. In 2013, 320 loss adjustment companies and 71 000 adjusters have been listed in China.
