NGI obtains a B++ rating from AM Best

AM Best has granted National General Insurance Company (NGI) the rating B++ for its financial soundness and a bbb+ for its credit rating with stable outlook. AM Best confirms the company's good capitalization level and its technical profitability. NGI operates in life and non-life insurance and generated a premiums' volume of 110 million USD in 2009. AM Best considers the company's competitiveness to be limited due to its portfolio being exclusively supplied by Emirati business. In this context, its partnership with Aviva is a good initiative.
