No compensation for the Judy Garland museum

In the wake of a lawsuit, Essex Insurance Company will not be made to pay the museum Judy Garland in Grand Rapids (Minnesota) the sum of 1 million USD in damage for the robbery of a pair of ruby slippers worn by the actress in the film ‘The Wizard of Oz' for the museum's alarm system had been disarmed when the theft occurred during August 2005.
