Oman Insurance, soaring premiums in 2013

In 2013, Oman Insurance (OIC) reported a 19.5% increase of its written premiums up to 2.9 billion AED (789 million USD). Net profits amount to 24 million AED (6.5 million USD), figures which confirm OIC as a regional leader. The insurer’s subsidiaries in Turkey, UAE, Oman and Qatar have also performed well.

OIC has recently embarked on claims management on behalf of third parties in health insurance in Iraq. The group is seeking strategic alliances to strengthen its development.
