Opening of the 40th General Assembly of the FANAF in Abidjan
The economic capital of Cote d'Ivoire is hosting from 15 to 18 February 2016, the 40th General Assembly of the Fédération des Sociétés d’Assurances de Droit National Africaines (FANAF) under the theme: "The African insurance at the heart of the economic emergence".
The inauguration ceremony held in the presence of the government Prime Minister, Daniel Kablan Duncan, saw a record attendance of 1 000 participants from 43 countries.
This event organized in partnership with the Association des Sociétés d’Assurances de Côte d’Ivoire (ASA-CI) represents an opportunity to take stock of the challenges and prospects of the insurance development across the continent.
Several roundtables are on the agenda including among which the one dealing with the impact of socio-economic developments and of innovation in business, supply and demand of insurance in 2030.
