Partner Re : net profit increase in H1 2021

Partner RePartner Re has posted a 25.2% increase in its turnover in the first half of 2021, which reached 4.506 billion USD against 3.599 billion USD in 2020.

After having recorded a net loss of 204 million USD at the end of June 2020, the reinsurer has made a net profit of 248 million USD in H1 2021.

The technical result stands at 192 million USD as at 30 June 2021 against a 241 million USD loss in H1 2020. The return on equity (ROE) is 5.6%. The combined ratio is clearly improving, going from 112.6% in the first half of 2020 to 92.4% at the end of June 2021.
