Partnership between Activa Assurance and Orange

Activa has partnered with Orange for the investment of its new insurance plan dedicated to needy individuals. The telephone operator will be marketing Activa’s insurance policies through its telephone network.

The Cameroonian group will tap into the high penetration rate of mobile phones in society to disseminate the range of its new products specialized in accidents and temporary or permanent disability.

The premium rates for those products, which are affordable, will be collected thanks to the service provided by Orange, called Mobile Money. Telephone penetration rate in Cameroon is estimated at 90%.
