Partnership between Macir Vie and Générale Assurance Méditerranéenne
Macir Vie and Générale Assurance Méditerranéenne (GAM) have signed a partnership whose objective is to broaden the distribution network of the life insurer's products.
Macir's travel, loan protection, group and life accidents insurance policies will be marketed, as a first step, by five GAM agencies. The products' distribution will be gradually extended to all the agencies of the non-life insurer.
As a reminder, GAM, a property damage insurance company, is fully owned by the American investment group Emerging Capital Partners (ECP). Macir Vie, a subsidiary of CIAR, was founded in 2011 following the obligation to split the life and non-life activities of insurance companies in Algeria. The two partners are present on almost all the country.
