Philippe Donnet and Alberto Minali, two potential candidates for the chairmanship of Generali

The CEO of Generali, Mario Greco has left the group before the end of his mandate, to join the Swiss rival Zurich Insurance.

He will assume his new duties on 1 May 2016. As for Generali , Gabriele Galateri di Genola has been entrusted with acting as chairman ad interim of the board of directors.

The election of a new president will take place in the upcoming days. The French Philippe Donnet, CEO of Generali Italia and Alberto Minali, group chief financial officer are among the favorite candidates to take over.
