QBE increases its shares in the capital of Raheja QBE

The insurer QBE increases its stakes in the capital of its Indian joint venture Raheja QBE.
The Australian group plans to buy 23% shares of its partner Prism Cement to increase its stake from 26% to 49%, equivalent to 15.8 million USD.

Under the new law approved last March, this figure represents the maximum limit that a foreign insurance company may hold in the capital of an Indian company.
