Experts believe that the Russian-Ukrainian conflict is making insurers more reluctant to cover cyber risks to which companies are exposed.
Some insurance companies are planning new exclusions from their policies while others are halting the underwriting of new cyber business.
In France, insurers are calling for an exclusion of Russian or Ukrainian cyber events from their policies.
Other insurance companies are looking very carefully at cyber claims from clients that are vulnerable to hacking (financial institutions, telecommunications).
