Saham Assurance: results increase in 2021

Saham Assurance recorded a 9.7% increase in its turnover in 2021, rising from 5.126 billion MAD (569.09 million USD) in 2020 to 5.622 billion MAD (601.56 million USD) one year later. Non-life premiums amounted to 4.703 billion MAD (503.23 million USD) compared to 919 million MAD (98.3 million USD) for the life activity.

The net profit increased by 79.1% to reach 360 million MAD (38.5 million USD) by the end of 2021.

Investments assigned to insurance operations stood at 15.585 billion MAD (1.6 billion USD). The technical reserves settled at 14.729 billion MAD (1.5 billion USD), growing by 3% over one year.

With 4.756 billion MAD, the company's shareholders' equity improved by 6.2% compared to 4.478 billion MAD (497.15 million USD) reported at the end of 2020.

The dividend of 35 MAD (3.7 USD) per share distributed in 2021 rose by 75% compared to 2020.
