Saham Finances acquires 40% of Unitrust

The group Saham Finance has announced the acquisition of a 40% stake in the Nigerian insurer Unitrust in a transaction whose amount has not been disclosed.

In early 2014, Saham took control of the Rwandan insurer Corar and of Angola’s second largest insurer AG Angola Seguros SA in 2013.

Saham Finances is held by Group Saham founded in 1995 by Moulay Hafid Elalamy, current Minister of industry, trade, investment, and digital economy. The group also controls CNIA-Saada, one of the leading insurers in the kingdom.
