Sanlam is planning to sell its shares in Absa’s capital

Its main shareholder, SANLAM, envisages to cede the 19.6% stakes it holds in Absa's capital. The transaction should yield 6 billion ZAR (961 million USD). The potential rescuer is the Barclays group.
