Saudi Arabian Airlines renews its health insurance contract with Tawuniya

TawuniyaThe civil aviation company, Saudi Arabian Airlines, has renewed its health insurance contract with the insurer Tawuniya. The value of the contract represents more than 5% of the insurer's 2017 turnover, that is of 112.14 million USD. It will take effect as from 1 March 2019.

In November 2018, the Saudi insurer renewed the third party liability insurance, property damage and war risks for the entire fleet of the Saudi Arabian Airlines.

Earlier during the same year, Tawuniya signed other contracts with the aviation company "Flynas" and the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) to become a key player in the insurance of the Saudi civil aviation sector.

As a reminder, Tawuniya is the first insurer in the Gulf countries with a turnover 2 242 million USD in 2017.
