Sava Insurance Group: results 2019

Sava Insurance Group reported a turnover of 599.3 million EUR (671.13 million USD) in 2019, up 9.7% compared to the 546.3 million EUR (624.85 million USD) recorded in 2018.

The Net profit grew by 16.7% to 50.2 million EUR (56.22 million USD). The Slovenian group ended the year with a combined net ratio of 93.8% and a return on equity of 13.8%. In life insurance, the premiums underwritten by Sava Insurance Group amounted to 87.668 million USD (98.18 million USD) in 2019.

Reinsurance and non-life insurance, together, posted a turnover of 508.53 million EUR (569.48 million USD). The gross written premiums in non-life insurance increased by 12.2% nationally and 20.3% internationally.
