SCG-Ré: results as at 30 September 2023

SCG RéThe Société Commerciale Gabonaise de Réassurance (SCG-Ré) has published its key business indicators as at 30 September 2023. The company's turnover reached 16.251 billion FCFA (26.22 million USD), up by 20% compared with the 13.496 billion FCFA (20 million USD) recorded a year earlier.

The net incurred losses increased by 203% to 4.548 billion FCFA (7.3 million USD) due to the substantial number of claims reported in 2023.

Overhead costs climbed by 32% to 3.18 billion FCFA (5.2 million USD), over one year.

The financial result has gone from 173 million FCFA (256 650 USD) at the end of September 2022 to 454 million FCFA (732 420 USD) twelve months later, representing a 162% increase.
