SCOR, 2003 results and renewals

At the level of Non-life reinsurance, the first of January SCOR renewals reflect a 29% decrease in the expected premiums compared to the premiums written in 2003 and an 11% reduction in Life-reinsurance.
For the underwriting year 2003, the gross premiums issued have reached 3 691 million EUR (-26% compared to 2002), with Non-Life reinsurance accounting for 2 229 million EUR (-27%), and Personal accident reinsurance accounting for 1 462 million EUR (-4%).
