SCR: H1 2020 results

Despite the Covid-19 pandemic, the Société Centrale de Réassurance (SCR) recorded a 51% turnover increase in the first half of 2020. The latter went from 1.338 billion MAD (139.12 million USD) in H1 2019 to 2.02 billion MAD (205.98 million USD) one year later.

The net result amounted to 175.47 million MAD (17.89 million USD), an improvement of 42% compared to the 123.2 million MAD (12.8 million USD) recorded in late June 2019. The foreign affairs represent 25% of the overall turnover.

For the record, the company was rated «AAA» by Fitch Ratings and «B++» by AM Best.
