Signing of a code of ethics

On the occasion of the ceremony held on February 10, 2015 in Lome by the Togo Insurers Committee (CAT), Togolese insurers signed a code of ethics governing the profession.

According to José Kwassi Syménouh, Chairman of the CAT, this code is "a book of guidelines and rules that member companies of the committee have decided to formalize in order to harmonize and standardize industry practices."

Structured around seven chapters, the code, which is a reference document for all members of the CAT, aims to manage, among other things, the relationships between its members as well as those established with policyholders and intermediaries.

Another highlight of the ceremony, the CAT unveiled its new logo materializing cohesion between Togo insurance companies through the intersection of CAT initials and a lunar oval, as a symbol of uniting.
