Simplification of motor claims settlement procedures in Congo

The 19th extraordinary session of the board of directors of the international motor third party liability insurance card, known as the pink card, took place from 9 to 11 July 2018 in Brazzaville.

Under the theme "Building a community through the free movement of people, goods, services and capital: a reality in the CEMAC zone", the meeting aimed to reduce the time needed to compensate victims of road accidents. This need implies a simplification of the procedures for settling claims.

Created on July 1, 1996, the pink card covers motor claims that occurred in the member countries of the Central African Economic and Monetary Community (CEMAC), ie Cameroon, the Central African Republic, Congo, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea and Chad.
