Sino Guarantee wishes to enter into Coface capital

The Chinese credit insurer Sino Guarantee is planning to acquire a stake in the capital of its French counterpart Coface.

The request was made to Natixis, the main shareholder of the French insurer (of which it holds 41.24%).

Valued at 1.26 billion EUR (1.48 billion USD) on the stock exchange, Coface has been considered by Natixis, for eight years, as a non-strategic asset.
