Sonatrach, experts are assessing the losses of the Tiguentourine's attack

According Hadouche Adlane, commercial action' manager at the "Compagnie des Assurances des Hydrocarbures" (Cash), foreign insurers have sent experts on the gas site of Tiguentourine to assess the losses suffered by Sonatrach and its two partners (British Petroleum and Statoil) in the terrorist attack of January 2013.

A. Adlane further asserts that, by the scheme of special coverage of the site of Tiguentourine, the "Compagnie Centrale de Réassurance" (CCR), the national reinsurer, should not have to participate in the compensation of the gas complex.

As a reminder, the attack on the complex of Tiguentourine which alone accounts for almost 18% of Algerian gas exports, had resulted in the death of 38 hostages and 29 terrorists.
