STAR Assurances, net result up by 19%

The Société Tunisienne d'Assurances et de Réassurances (STAR) publishes its financial statements as at at 31/12/2014.

The turnover of the Tunisian market leader amounted to 288.208 million TND (155.090 million USD), an increase of 11.2% compared to 2013. The non life class of business monopolizes nearly 97% of underwritings.

Net profit rose from 18.740 million TND (11.437 million USD) in 2013 to 22.3 TND (12 million USD) in 2014, that is a jump of 19% over one year.

At 880.553 TND (473.843 USD), the total of balance sheet grew by 5% compared to 2013.Growth rates in local currency
