Swiss Re has announced the closure of its Moscow offices

Swiss Re has announced the closure of its Moscow offices. The reinsurer has taken this decision in order to focus its efforts on baseline activities and to strengthen its capital.
This move comes following the announcement of an annual loss of 727.7 million USD in 2008.
