The 28th General Arab Insurance Conference

The General Arab Insurance Federation (GAIF) held from May 17 to 19 in Jordan its 28^thconference with the participation of approximately 1600 professionals operating in the insurance and reinsurance sectors. The meeting chose the topic of «Arab insurance industry: Secure economy and comprehensive development». The conference called upon the Arab countries to unify their legislations in order to consolidate the regional market. The next meeting will take place in Morocco in 2012.
