The Asian continent is expecting mergers and acquisitions

Several mergers and acquisitions deals have already been announced on the continent. In Singapore, the British broker Hyperion Broking Group is taking control of the regional broker Accette. In China, CNinsure, an insurance intermediary, a market leader has announced that he would raise his shareholding in agencies' network Shenyang Fangda from 5% to 51%. CNinsure will also invest, along with Shanghai Puyi Investment Consulting, in a new joint venture. In Malaysia, the American insurer ACE, which already owns ACE Synergy Insurance, is consolidating its presence by taking over Jerneh Insurance for the sums of 212 million USD.
