The Association of Registered Insurance Agents of Nigeria rings the alarm

The Association of Registered Insurance Agents of Nigeria (ARIAN) rings the alarm over the situation of its profession.
Gbadebo Olamerun, newly elected president of the association, noted during its investiture, the presence of more than 20,000 unlicensed agents operating on the Nigerian territory.

G. Olamerun has exhorted insurance companies to use only the services of ARIAN's registered agents. He has also announced the intention of the association to raise the number of its members to 20,000 by 2015, against actually 3,000.
