The authorities have taken a series of measures designed to promote public trust in insurance. The penetration rate is less than 5% in the country, due to mistrust of the population towards the management of companies. Management errors are partly responsible for the apathy about Kenyan insurance. The quality of services provided is also challenged by the public.
