The Caisse Nationale de Mutualité Agricole increases its capital

The Caisse Nationale de Mutualité Agricole (CNMA) has tripled its share capital which increased from 1 billion DZD (10.15 million USD) in 2013 to 3 billion DZD (30.45 million USD).

In 2014, the Algerian insurer posted a net profit of 476.5 million DZD (5.5 million USD), that is an increase of 291.5% in comparison with the previous year. Being the fourth Algerian insurer in terms of premiums, CNMA has always been the leader in agricultural insurance as it controls nearly 78% of that risk portfolio.
