Confirmation of the verdict in favour of the reinsurer Swiss Re in its dispute versus the owner of the two towers of the World Trade Centre.

Handed down unanimously by the jury, the verdict established that the destruction of the World Trade Centre on September 11, 2001 was a single and same event.

Swiss Re must now settle the claim due in conformity with the policy established by the Broker Willis. According to the terms of the policy, the amount of the cover is limited to 25% of 3.5 billion USD.
