The first online insurance supermarket sees the light of day

Damoa Insurance is the first online supermarket for insurance products to be set up in South Korea. It has been operational since November 30, 2015. Users have the possibility to compare the different offers provided there and to make their purchases online. The website includes 217 kinds of insurance policies divided into six categories: Travel insurance, retirement insurance, saving plan, motor insurance, temporary term insurance and health insurance.

The site attracted nearly 100 000 visitors in the course of the last three days following its launch, 60 000 of whom on the first day. Nearly 40% of internet users carried out research on term insurance policies and 18% on motor plans.
More than 59% of internet users used a personal computer and roughly 41% made use of a smartphone or a tablet.
