Estimated at 6 billion USD in 2010, they are likely to attain 24 billion USD in 2020. This average annual growth rate of 15% would be accounted for by the increased purchasing power of the middle and upper classes. Insurance companies will also benefit from the development of local and international companies whose social policies would be reinforced. The health insurance premiums underwritten for employees of large groups accounted in 2010 for 20% to 25 % of the premiums of health insurance and would represent 30% to 35 % in 2020.
