The insurers and reinsurers of TUNINTER pay for the incident of ATR-42

The insurers and reinsurers of the airline company TUNINTER (STAR, COMAR, GAT, CARTE, ASTREE, the Lloyd's of London and Tunis Re, the latter acting as the manager of the Tunisian Aviation Pool) have proceeded to the payment of the ATR 72 hull aircraft which plunged on the costs of Palermo (Sicily) on August 6, 2005. The total hull material damage amounts to 12.5 million USD. Immediately after the crash, a special fund of the equivalent of 3 million USD was allocated to meet the first expenses.
