The Ivorian conflict would have cost 535 million USD to insurers

According to some sources, the conflict in Cote d'Ivoire has cost insurers about FCFA 300 Billion (USD 535,000,000), which equals the turnover of the entire FANAF market. The demand to cover political risks has been at the core of the agenda of the FANAF 10th Conference held in Dakar.
