The July floods would cause 3.5 billion USD in economic damages

The heavy rains that washed the north of India and the Bombay region in July, 2005 have claimed thousands of casualties and caused considerable damage. Estimates reported 3.5 billion USD in economic damages whose results will undoubtedly affect reinsurers, especially those who underwrote facultative risks.
