The Kenyan tourism operators benefit from a new insurance cover

Hotels, tour operators and other tourism players have access to an accident cover of international standards and whose reinsurance is placed within the Lloyd's in London. The authorities are hoping that this measure, already in place in South Africa, will promote the flow of tourists in Kenya. The new insurance policies offer guarantees of: legal fees, accident, sickness, death as well as repatriation and medical costs. It cannot be affirmed whether or not such a cover may be extended to other East-African countries.
