The magazine Sigma published the global premiums volume

According to Sigma, the turnover of global premiums in 2002 reached 2 627 billion USD (+5.5% compared to 2001), life amounting to 1 536 billion USD (+3%) and non-life to 1 091 billion USD (+9.2%). In industrialized countries, these branches show respectively a 1.9% and a 9.1% growth against 12.7% and 10.7% in emerging countries.
